MakerMobile’s Great Summer Tour of BC

postcard_montage_ver2

People have been asking when the MakerMobile would pop up in their town, and for 19 communities across BC the answer is: now!

MakerMobile is taking to the road on July 10th for an almost month-long tour that will bring maker education fun and hands-on art and technology activities to cities and towns across North-Central and North-Eastern BC.

At each stop on the tour, we will be hosted by the local library and our programme will run from 10am to 4:30pm. At most locations, the main event will be our ‘Massive Maker Mash-Up’ – a fun packed mix of many of our favourite creative tech/art activities. You can drop in for 5 minutes or stay for longer to experience multiple themes as we switch from one to another throughout the day. If you weren’t able to get to the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire or the Prince George Mini Maker Faire this year, make sure you don’t miss this!

Some libraries have also requested specific workshop sessions, for which you may need to pre-register with the library. Here is our full itinerary (assume Massive Maker Mash-Up 10am – 4:30pm unless otherwise noted).
